Jagdish Temple & Old City Lanes

Walk through the colourful streets around Jagdish Temple. Browse the little shops, watch the city go by and take the scenic route.

Lunch at a Local Café

Time for a good meal and a little break. Pick one of our favourite cafés and take it slow.

Gangaur Ghat

Head towards the lake, wander around the ghats and find a quiet spot to sit by the water.

🌅 Sunset at Ambrai Ghat

This is the one we wouldn't skip. Watch the sun go down behind the Aravallis while the City Palace glows across Lake Pichola. Come early. Find a good spot. Stay until the city lights come on.

🎭 Bagore Ki Haveli Folk Dance Show

Walk over to Dharohar Folk Dance at Bagore Ki Haveli for live Rajasthani music, puppetry and the famous Chari dance.

Dinner or Rooftop Night at Citylights

Two ways this night goes: Option 1: Dinner by the lake, watching City Palace light up across the water. Option 2: Come back to Citylights, grab a drink, put on some music and swap stories with travellers on the rooftop. Both are good.

Early check-in after 7:00 AM is complimentary, subject to availability. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out.

Citylights is designed for a young, social traveller community. Guests must be between 18 and 40 years of age to stay at this property.

Group Policy

All-male groups are not accepted

To maintain the kind of social environment we want at Citylights, bookings consisting exclusively of male guests are not accepted.

Outside Food & Drinks

Please enjoy them outside.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside Citylights. We've got our rooftop café and plenty of Udaipur favourites right outside the door.

Parking & Old City Access

No on-site parking · Old City pedestrian zone

Citylights is located in Udaipur's Old City, where cars cannot reach the property. We do not have on-site parking.

Cars: Two government-paid parking areas are available approximately 200 metres away.

Two-wheelers: Can reach the property, but parking is not guaranteed. Please park only in permitted street-side spaces.

Quiet Hours

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Keep it low after 11. We want everyone to have a good night's sleep, especially after a full day exploring Udaipur.
